Privacy policy

Overview

Wheelhouse Design Company LLC (“we,” “us”) is a design and cabinetry company in Auburn, Alabama, which also does business as Auburn Closet Co. We operate Notebook, an internal operations app used by our employees and contractors. This policy explains what information Notebook collects and how we use it, including our team text notifications and the appointment and install text updates customers can agree to.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, work email address and role.
• Work records entered in Notebook, such as notes, tasks, schedules and photos.
• For team members who opt in to text notifications: mobile number, the date and time of opt-in or opt-out, the consent wording shown, and a log of messages sent and their delivery status.
• For customers who agree to appointment and install text updates: name, mobile number, the job it relates to, how and when they agreed or opted out, the wording asked or shown, and a log of messages sent.

How we use it

We use this information to run our business operations, coordinate work among our team, and send the operational text notifications a team member has asked for, and the appointment and install updates a customer has agreed to. We do not use it for marketing.

Text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Team members can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by turning text notifications off in Notebook Settings. See our SMS terms.

Customers who agree to appointment and install updates (as Auburn Closet Co or Wheelhouse Design Co) can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Their numbers are used only for updates about their own scheduled work. See how customers opt in and the install text terms.

Service providers

We use service providers only to operate Notebook: Twilio to deliver text messages, Supabase to store data, and Vercel to host the app. They process information on our behalf and not for their own marketing.

Access and security

Access to Notebook requires a login. Each person sees only the information their role needs. Team mobile numbers and message logs are visible only to the person they belong to and to the company owners. Customer text consent records are visible only to the owners and our coordinator; installers never see them.

Retention

We keep consent records, including opt-outs, as long as needed to show that messages were sent with consent and to honor opt-out requests. You may ask us to delete other information by contacting us.
